Problems with Vista

My cursor's hourglass wont stop flashing every 10 to 15 seconds and its
really making me mad!!! Heeeeeeeeeelp!!!!!!!!!!!!

Something is obviously running in the background, but there is no way that
anyone can help you with so little information. Here are some general
troubleshooting steps and also some links to help you with your next
newsgroup post. I'm not saying this to hurt your feelings, just trying to
help you out.

The First Question Of Troubleshooting: what changed between the time things
worked and the time they didn't?

The Second Question of Windows Troubleshooting: what is the malware/virus
status of the machine? If you think it is clean, what programs (and
versions) did you use to determine this?

Try to change it into another cursor:

Control Panel>>Hardware and Sound>>Mouse Properties>>Pointer
Tab>>Browse>>Select another cursor of your liking.
