Hello
I'm not sure if this is network and/or user account related but:
We have three PCs (XP Home) all networked using a hub. No one is the server
but one PC stores the main data.
One of the PCs is for accounting with the User (Administrator) Account
called "Accounts" (the only account on this PC, Guest is turned off). The
problem is that whilst a document (Word or Excel) is opening it displays a
message stating that the document is currently being used by
the user "Accounts" and would I like to make a copy? BUT I AM THAT USER!
Other messages appear after opening a file are "do you want to revert to the
saved (file name)?"
It's getting quite frustrating now especially because some file don't allow
to save amended ones.
Thanks for your help and advice you can give me.
