Problems with splitting tables onto next page

I'm having problems with my tables on Word. I'm using the 2003 SP3 version. When I am inputing information to my tables, the table continues onto the next page but this causes it to shift everything from the next page onto the page after, which leaves me with masses of blank space - even though there is plenty of room for the things to go.

Do you know if this can be solved or is it just the version of Word I am
using won't allow it?
