After I install Windows XP SP2 my computer goes down. I got a collored screen
sometime blue sometime green and sometime yellow.

The only thing I can do is to restart. The color comes 2 to 5 minutes after
I start the computer. Everything worked fine with SP1 and all other updates.
What can be wrong I have tried four times but it is the same.

I don't know what to do.

Did you clean up your system and follow the proper procedures (for general
computer maintenance) before attempting to install SP2 - including upgrading
your hardware drivers to the latest version; full scans for spyware with
multiple antispyware applications; full scans for viruses with other AV
software packages (other than the one you have installed and updated on your
machine); checking for applications updates from the software manufacturers
web site; checking for BIOS updates for your motherboard; clearing out old
system restore points and leaving just one *known good one* in its place;
backing up your system/files either using a backup system or a cloning
application (or both); ran a full CHKDSK on your hard disk drive(s); ran a
DEFRAG on your hard disk drive(s)?

If so, can you look in your event log and get the error from there - perhaps
in safe mode?

Connie,

please have a look at www.michna.com/kb/WxSP2.htm for the
probable causes and workarounds.
