Hi everyone,

I'm having a problem with an engine called "Sirsearch"
that seems to be attached to my IE. Is there anyone who
can tell me how to find and get rid of this annoying
thing. It won't let me go into certain parts of sites.
Like pages were you put credit card info or job sites
where you accually put in your applications. Is there
anyone who can help, it's driving me mad!!!

Thanks
Sandy

This is becoming a fairly common problem. You need to obtain and run
a spyware program that is up to date. I recommend Ad-Aware from
lavasoftusa.com.

1. Go to the lavasoftusa.com Website. If you cannot get to this
Website, don't panic - it's fixable.

1(A). If you *can* get to lavasoftusa.com, then download their
Ad-Aware program. Update it right away, then run it and remove any
spyware it finds.

If you CANNOT get to lavasoftusa.com, then you need to do the
following:

2(A). Use Windows Explorer to find a file named 'hosts'.

2(B). Rename 'hosts' to something else, such as 'oldhosts'.

2(C). Now go back to step #1 above.
