Strange Cat

Hi everybody

I'm writing a small app with Borland's Delphi 7 for a Flat Panel PC with XP
Embedded installed.

On start the main windows maximizes to full screen and sets as "Stay On
top", this is to hide all the windows icons and the taskbar, everything
works fine except that the controls on the very lower part of the window are
not displayed, also the contents of the window appear as they are shifted to
the right by, say, 20 pixels...

Are there any differences in windows creating and displaying I should know?

Any ideas?

Thanx in advance

P.S. The same app runs fine on a twin machine with XPPro-Sp1 Installed.

Strange Cat,

Add Font Tracker to your build....

http://www.xpefiles.com/a_file.cfm?...lities&fileid=Font-Tracker.zip&groupName=Main

If it fixes the issue and you don't want all the extra fonts then backtrack
removing one at a time to find the one that is needed by your app. It's
probably one of the serif fonts.

HTH,

Thanx for answering Brad!

I will surely try the FontTracker as soon as I can test on the production
machine (don't have it here where I'm working).

Will post back results

Thanx again
