Not sure if I'm in the right room, but, I recently installed Roxio Media
Suite Version 8 and when I get into the program to do something it reboots my
system. I have installed all the updates,, ie: firmware, drivers, etc... I am
running Win xp and Roxio isn't any help, a lot of other people are having the
same prob. Any suggestions? I am ready to get a refund and find another
program, what I needed it for was to burn photos onto a DVD.

As a "Free" alternative, you might consider a product called
CDBurner XP Pro. About it's only requirement is that your
system have the Microsoft .Net framework or the simpler
form of .Net runtime components. I deploy this to a number
of customers who for whatever reasons are reluctant to go
and purchase burning software.

Download is found here:

Find out from Roxio how to completely uninstall the product, then turn
off anti-virus scanning, close all open programs. Close as many
programs as you can from task manager, then try to reinstall.

There has been a update for version 8 posted on their website, have you
installed it yet?

tried downloading the update 4 times and each time it wouldn't install, said
there was a prob with the download, any other programs out to burn pics to a
DVD that are good?
