Problems with Performance Counter

Hello all,

I´ve a problem. I´am using a Windows XP embedded on an
embedded platform. There runs a C# programm which uses
methods of Process - class and Performance counter. Now
I´am getting an exception that performance counter can´t
be started. In perfmon I couldn´t start any counters.
Which compontens are missing? Does anyone know which
compontens performance counters need?

Search this group for C# + Performance Counter.
It was discussed already.

You might also want to change the account (from Network to the System)
the Performance service is working under. This makes it able to record
the performance data.
 
Hello Nikolai,

I´ve searched long time in the forum but I didn´t find
anything.
Could you please send me the links to the posts or help
me with the problem directly?

The tip was just very usefull but just it doesn´t work
(Counters could be started now in Perfmon but the
application reports the same exception).
