We just changed DNS server, and now the problems started. I checked with my
webhost, and everything is set up correctly according to them. I get these
errors when sending and receiving mail:

Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for
this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of
inactivity. Account: 'myservername.com', Server: 'myservername.com',
Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F

please help
thanks

I have exactly the same problem Error Number 0x800CC0F. I cannot receive
mail nor send mail. Please help. Thanks

"Unexpected" termination is usually caused by interference from a non-
compatible antivirus program. Which antivirus are you running?
As a minimum, email scanning in the antivirus must be turned off,
although that may not be sufficient to eliminate all bad effects.
In a worst case scenario, your antivirus may need to be uninstalled.

Email scanning in any antivirus must be disabled, for reasons
explained here:
http://thundercloud.net/infoave/tutorials/email-scanning/index.htm

If no improvement after disabling email scanning, consider upgrading
to Windows Live Mail, because it is less prone to suffering bad effects
from overly intrusive antivirus programs:

Hi again,

I have upgraded to Windows Live Mail, and turned off the Anti-Malware in my
new Kaspersky internet security program.

The error when using WLM is
The connection to the server has failed.

Subject 'Re: test'
Server: 'mydomain.com'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0E
Protocol: SMTP
Port: 25
Secure(SSL): No
Socket Error: 10051

And in WM it is:
The connection to the server has failed. Subject '', Account: 'my name',
Server: 'my domain', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): Yes, Socket
Error: 10051, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

THis is very frustrating. I can receive mail, but not send it.
Please help
Thanks.

Hi again,
I have added the server name, but the account name is not my real account
name. I'll be happy to send it to you by email.

Are you sure that armpocket.com is the correct mail server name?
It seems to me that mail.armpocket.com is more likely.
Have you checked with the web host for armpocket.com?

I have exactly the sam problem and error code, anybody can help?I need this
