Problems with Office XP Files

Hello,
I would greatly appreciate it if someone could possibly
tell me how to open my Office XP files, so I can use them.
I'm a returning college student, and need them for a
homework assignment.

Do you have OFFICE installed on you computer?

If not Office, what software do you have?

Are these WORD documents or Excel spreadsheets?

If you a compatible application, you can try opening the
application first and using the file/open menu to select the
file. If the correct conversion plug-in is installed the
program will open your file.

If you don't have Office installed you can buy the
student/teacher version for $125-150 at most retail stores
off the shelf.
