Problems with Netword User Name and Password

I'm experiencing a problem with Outlook 2002. Since
yesterday sometime, when Send/Receive is automatically
generated, a prompt comes up to enter my network user name
and password. No matter how many times I click ok, the
prompt continues to come up. When I click on cancel, an
error message comes up that says to verify my user name
and password. I've been told by my DSL provider that it's
a computer manufacturer or Microsoft issue. The computer
manufacturer says it's a Microsoft issue and Microsoft
says that it's a computer manufacturer issue, because the
Outlook was installed when the computer was purchased. I
use this e-mail account for a home business and cannot
receive e-mails. Can anybody help?
 
I was having the same issue setting up a email account. Make sure that the username and password linked to that acount are correct. Example if you have a yahoo account make sure that it is your yahoo user name and password for that account you use. When you have the right password with the corresponding user id It will work. Also check that your caps lock is not on.
