problems with Net nanny 4

i have just installed net nanny 4 on my computer which
has windows xp home on it. it is causing the cpu usuage
to go to 100% and the computer running really slow. as
soon as a close the process nnlstupd.exe and nntask.exe
and net nanny is gone from the task bar the computer runs
fine. can anyone help me because the net nanny site tells
you nothing about version 4.

Net Nanny 5.5 is the most current version, although their FAQ says it
will work with XP with a patch. Have you applied the patch? I went to
their tech support page and found that information, including a link to
the patch, here:
