Problems with 'My Documents' Folder.

Hi there,

When I try to open 'My Documents', Folder, The window turns up blank and the
torch/flashlight appears.
Then it dissapears and an error report comes up.

I have tried to install Windows XP again but the code on the back of the cd
case does not have the required 25 characters.

Can anybody help?

This may be a restore disk, look on the side of the computer case for your
install key
check all over the case. it's either that or buy yourself a new copy of XP

Sorry, no email support. Asked here, answered here. You can retrieve the
license key from the current running installation by using any of these
utilities:

AIDA32 http://www.aumha.org/freeware.htm

Belarc Advisor http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html

Magical Jellybean http://www.magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder.shtml

Note: if this is an OEM install of XP done by a major computer vendor such
as Dell, and the OS has not bee reinstalled, this retrieved license key will
be the one used for bulk images by the vendor and not the key you use to
reinstall XP. That should be on the computer case.

If this is a copy of XP you purchased and installed, then the retrieved key
should work.
