Problems with My Computer

My Computer was probably created as a shortcut. Does it have a arrow in the
bottom left hand corner.

If it does try this

start>run and type

desk.cpl

select the Desktop Tab, then Customize Desktop, check of My Computer then
OK>Apply>OK

Good Luck

I have Win XP Prof SP 2. Suddenly, when I right click My Computer, then
click Properties it no longer displays System Properties. Instead, it
displays the "normal" Properties window with the General & Shortcut tabs.
Can this be fixed?

Thanks

You have made it into a regular shortcut. To get the good old My
Computer back, go to display properties, Desktop Tab, customize desktop
button and check My Computer checkbox. if it's checked you may need to
uncheck it and apply then check it back and apply. Should fix the problem.
