Can someone help me. When I try to highlight a cell in Excel I can not see the change in color on my monitor. I have checked to see if someone set a "auto format" and no one has. I can print and see the color but it does not display on my monitor. I can change the color of the font but not the color of the cell when I use the "fill" icon. Can someone help me with this. Does the problem lie in how the monitor is set to display? IT support at work is stumped. This is very frustrating and is like being blind when you are trying to work in Excel. I use this feature always.
Sorry Spencer I don't have an answer but I do have the same problem & it's driving me mad. I can't work properly without it. If you've solved it could you let me know. Thank

Again. This seems to be a problem with XP Home editions purchased or installed at the beginning of the year. I have exactly the same problem and it really does drive me mad. (e-mail address removed)
