Problems With Home Network

Hello...

I used to be able to share folders and use remote desktop with my
daughter's PC here at home but for the past few weeks, I can't see any
thing...no shared folders...and I can't connect via Remote Desktop...it
is as if the PC isn't there. And she can't see a shared folder on my
machine

I am not sure exactly where to start looking...any and all suggestions
on how to get started troubleshooting this would be great.

Please provide more information. Can you ping it?

To ping it, click start, then run, type in cmd and press enter.

Type in the followin and report back with the results:

ping [computername]

Replace [computername] with the name or network IP Address of the computer
you are pinging...

No, I cannot ping her PC at all, either by name or IP.
