Hi,

I have a Windows 2003 Server with AD in my company. My Exchange
Server 5.5 is intalled in a Windows Nt4 Server. When a user changes the
password in Windows 2003 the changes do not affect the Exchange server,
so my users needs to put the old password to gain access. Is there something
missing in my configuration?

Tks,

Marco

This is probably something more on the Exchange side.
Im not that familiar with Exchange but my first question would be if you
have the ADC installed on the Exchange machine?
This is what Exchange uses to "integrate" with AD like Exchange 2000 does.

Is the NT machine in the same domain?

First of all, tks for your reply. No, I do not have ADC installed on the
Exchange machine and the NT machine is not in the same domain.

I guess the question to ask at that point would be are the users attempting
to authenticate with an account in their domain or the domain that has the
Exchange server?
When authenticating across a trust a DC in the domain where the account
resides must be contacted to verify the credentials.
