Everytime I update XP. I end up with more problems than before on my computer. Keyboard doesn't work, can't access web pages, etc. The problems occur more when it is the IE6 updates. Has anyone had the same issues and how do you correct them. I'm thinking of going back to Windows ME.

I went from ME to XP & had some teething problems, but everything is working fine for me now. You say you are having loads of problems, being I presume, your keyboard & access webpages

Keyboard Check
Is it plugged into your computer correctly ? (it may have come lose
Is it showing up as working properly in the Device Manager ? (it might be broke or have a lose connection
Have you spilt any liquid or food on it ? (this is easily done:) & can cause the keys to stick or not work at all

Webpage Acces
If you've only recently put it on your computer all of the settings will be at their default values - as it can from the factory. so to get it customised takes a bit of time - first stop in this case would be Internet option

You can configure (tweek) the settings to your preference there via control panel - if you go to the advanced tab you'll find a list of options you can enable, that aren't always switched on by default (you don't need them all switched on!)
'Java VM' needs to be checked if you want to see some webpages

Your Security settings tab might be set too high, you need to be able to accept ActiveX to see the contents of most popular websites on the net

Check to see if your Windows XP firewall is switched on, it should be. - you can find out how to do this in the help files
