Problems starting up

I had a problem whit my pc and I reformat it but when I try to start it
again it take like 20 min. to the welcome screen to appairs and it has been
like this since then, if any body can help I would appreciate.
 
Sounds like hard drive problems. Why did you have to reformat. Any errors,
how old is the drive. What type of system do you have..?
 
The sistem is a dell inspiron 5150 its about a year and half old and I
reformat because it when down and a blue screen appear and I try to turn it
off but nothing happen so I take the power off and when I restart it I just
got a black screen so I reformat it
 
All the drivers are compatible and I just put disc of OS inside and follow
the instruccion that it give me

Did you install all the drivers after XP was installed including chipset,
video, and audio?
