Contact your IT folks are your company. They may not permit access to
off-domain mail hosts, even for reading your personal e-mails. With
all the lawsuits over the last couple of decades that have divulged
personal emails sent using company resources that injured the company,
they may require that all personal emails be handled *without* using
any of the company's resources. Instead use the webmail interface to
your personal e-mail account. Again, the IT folks at your company
know best how their network works.
