Problems REALLY clearing history.

I am having trouble clearing my history. And I don't mean
by going to the tools menu, internet options, and clicking
delete files and clear history buttons. Ive done that,
and my history appears to be cleared, but when I go to
type an address in the address bar, before I finish
typing, the words are already there. For example, If I
type www.g the pulldown menu appears automatically right
below the address bar with the words www.google.com as
well as any other sites that start with the letter G. Now
if I cleared the history and deleted cookies and all that,
then why do the sites I've visited in the past still pop-
up in the pulldown address menu AS i'm typing them??

To prevent it in the future, disable "AutoComplete..."
(Tools > Internet Options > Content)
