Problems printing to network printers from XP Pro PCs

The server is Windows NT 4.0; the client computers are a mix of Windows
XP pro and Windows 98SE. The problem printer is an HP LaserJet 4250N.

I installed the printer on the NT server, it has a static IP address
and is happy. If I try to print to it from non admin users the print
job just sits there. Sometimes the server will toss up an "unable to
locate network path" (or something very close, I'm exhausted as I type
this) error and the jobs will just sit there. If I logon as
administrator or one of the administrator users then I can print
ok...all other users cannot.

Any ideas as to what is causing this? I looked at rights on the server,
they look ok, all users have print rights to this printer. I've beat my
head over this for too long, which means it's probably something very
simple.

Hi,

Sounds like permission issues. Instead of "Users", give "Everyone" the print
permission and see what happens.
