I use XP Home and there are 4 other users in my computer.
I have made my folders under documents and settings
private but this is not working well. Sometimes, other
users can just open my private folders and I can open
theirs (which are also private). But then again,
sometimes it works properly. I am using NFTS file system.
Has anyone any clues? Thanks in advance

XP Home: By default, you can only make files and folders under My Documents "private". This is done by right clicking a folder or file and selecting Properties, Sharing. To change the permissions on other folders, you need to boot the computer to Safe Mode and log in on the built in Administrator account. In this mode, you'll see the Security tab in Properties, and you can assign permissions based on user name or group membership.

Wish I had seen this hours and hours ago. I have beating my head against the
wall, and this nowhere in the doc that suggest you try everything else. .
Thanks Doug.
