When I was installing windows xp pro with sp2, could not get it to install a
file called "tourW.exe". Had to skip and finished the installion without any
further hitches. However, now, cannot install updates. Anyone know what
tourW.exe is and how I can fix it?

tourw.exe is just a Flash Player file by Macromedia, Inc. that gives you a tour of XP right
after you install it. It belongs in the C:\windows\system32\dllcache folder.
It has nothing to do with any updates.

I suspect you have a hardware problem. Check your RAM. If you have more than one stick, remove
one and try installing XP again. If the problem persists, swap the memory sticks and try again.
