Hey. Well I seem to have gotten myself stuck. I was in
the process of upgrading my computer from Windows 98 to
Windows XP Home Edition...well, I grabbed the wrong
Windows XP cd and put it in there, and then when it came
to the screen asking me for my product key, that is when
i realized I had put in the wrong CD. I don't have the
product key for the one that I put in. However, i do have
the product key for the other disk. Well, I can't get
this wrong XP setup thing off my computer in order to use
the correct one. I have tried restarting, without the cd,
and it just tells me to insert the cd. And I can't get
the computer to go to a command prompt. Is there ANYONE
out there who can help me??? PLEASE?????
Thanks so much!

You don't explain what CD you inserted, but . . .

Have you tried booting directly from the right CD? Give that a try and then
plug in the correct PK.

See if that solves the problem.
