Problems converting to ntfs

I want to convert my HD from FAT 32 with 4GB 'memory/capacity' restriction to
ntfs, to allow me to store & send my appx 9.2 gb's edited movie,(approx) 45 mins
duration,back to my DV camera
have read H&S tried Command Prompt with CONVERT C: /FS:NTFS hit enter
& following message appears:-
Enter Current Volume label for Drive C:
Can't find any ref anywhere to this message,
HELP what do i do now?
my HD has capacity of 110gb's with apprx 90 gb's of free space
thanks in advance for any help offered

So what volume label is displayed when you open Explorer to look at your
drive(s)?

What volume label is shown when you do a "dir c:\"?

armed with that i then went on looking throug
other postings & found similar discussion & a ur

and once again thanks for the hint,that I no
