I've already posted several messages to this and other
groups that after applying this update you can loose the
conection to outside world after some time of browsing
the web. It's turned out that the dns table gets flooded
with the new data. To restore the connection, as was
found out by my coleague, one has to manually flush dns
using ipconfig /flushdns. This behavior is now observed
on several machines which means that this is a bug in the
update. MIIICCCRRRROOOOSSSSSOOOOOOFFFFFTTT please take
note of this.

Other than this message, I can't find any other post
from "roshcher" (or "roscher") to this group since
September. Was this an automatic update? I haven't
noticed this behavior.

Hi Eric,
I posted also on windows.update group. Anyway, this
update was from the MS web site. And it depends on how
many new sites you visit. Maybe it has something to do
with the local configuration of the network which we have
here I don't know cause the same behavior was seen on 4
machines running Win XP Pro.
