I have a harddisk in my Toshiba notebook that has started to make
strange sounds, so I got a brand new one and tried to ghost the old
one (It´s still working)
Unfortunatelly that didnt work out so well, because I couldnt find the
networkdrivers for dos on that model. (I wanted to put the ghost-file
on the network.
So I took the bad harddisk, put it in a IBM T30 and that worked fine.
I swapped, put in the new harddisk into the T30 and ghosted the image
to it.
When I put the new harddisk into the Toshiba, I got "NTLDR is missing"
So I copied NTLDR from the xp-cd and wrote "fixmbr" and "fixboot" in
the recovery console, but I still got the "NTLDR is missing"-message.
How do I fix this?!
Thanks //J.
