When my computer crashed I had a new hard drive
installed. When I tried to access Microsoft Word it asked
me for a 25 digit code that was suppose to be on a
sticker in my disk pack that I got with my computer. I
could only find one disk with a sticker and entered it
but it wouldn't recognize the code. How can I get the
Microsoft Word program running if I can't find the code
that came with my PC. Is there a way of finding out the
code that came with my computer?

Q. "How can I get the Microsoft Word program running if I can't find the code
that came with my PC?"

A. You'll need to contact the manufacturer of your PC and request a replacement
of the Microsoft Word Product Key. Without it, you cannot install Word.

'When I tried to access Microsoft Word' - do you mean that there was an icon on the start menu or desktop that you double clicked and this prompt appeared: or did you try to reinstall Word?

If it was the former, then you may be able to identify the entries in your system.

go to www.belarc.com and locate the Belarc Advisor download.

install this on your PC and it will report a full inventory, Hardware, Software, Serial Numbers, Product Keys etc.

If there is a valid entry for Word [or Office] it will be reported by Belarc and you should be able to use this.
