Problem

All of the sudden, when I click on "my computer," try to open Windows Explorer, control panel, or search, the desktop disappears for about 5 seconds, then comes back but none of the mentioned functions work. I have tried reloading Windows XP, both typical and from reboot. I have tried running all the fix options in Norton Systemworks. Please help!!

After you have followed Carey's advice, do not reload Norton System (no
longer) Works. Do a Custom Install of Norton, and choose to install ONLY
the anti-virus portion of System Works.

What is the problem with works suite 2001 and money 2000? it loads and says it has installed and the icons are there but it will not open, I have tried free download updates but still nothing
