I don't know haw to fix this problem. Can anyone help? Yahoo's help doesn't give me the answer.
When I get mail in my yahoo mail, yahoo sends me a pop up box stating I have a message(s) and I pressthe "Go to Yahoo Mail" button. It is supposed to take me to my yahoo mail account and log me in automatically, but it doesn't.
I get this message instead: This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the Folder Options control panel. http://msg.edit.yahoo.com/config/reset_cookies?&.......
I'm baffeled in what to do? If anyone has any answers please e-mail me.

You probablyh installed Yahoo Messenger at some point and this is what
you are using to integrate with Yahoo's web based email. Somehow or
another Messenger on your machine has become un-configured. Maybe best
thing to do is get an up to date copy, and install that. Should fix
everything.

take notes of what you did so you can remember this in future.

I installed the newest version of Yahoo messenger, but the problem still esists.
The pop up box that comes up is yahoo mail alert.
