Problem with win 98 log on.

My workstations running windows 98 got a tricky problem; when the user change
his password for the windows 2000 domain , he cannot log on. Only if I set
the password to empty directly on the AD.

I got no Group Policies and if the user log on in windows 2000 or XP , with
the new password it works.

somebody could help me ?!?!?

have you tried to install AD Directory Services Client from the W2K CD ?

I tried too, but isn´t work it out. Even with the configurarion for NTLM 2
after the istall of AD Client.

I look up on WINS, and everythng is lookting fine too...

But they can log on yet...

did you look on the domain controller security log?
