Problem with Widows Update

When I logged on to Windows Update it found 44
(fortyfour) critical updates to install. I visit this
site at least once a week and cannot believe this
number. I would appreciate any suggestions before
downloading (estimated time 2 hours 21 mins).

44 sounds about right. But you should not be seeing every week. you should
download and install all critical updates. If you mean that you see 44
every week after you choose to download and install them, then see the links
below.

Hi;

RLOL: IF you really know enough/comprehend the "jargon" (thou Ms is getting
way-better at the explanations) just personalize the downloads.
Could delete about 10 of them that way.
If you really are of a daring nature: go for more which is actually less..to
downloads.
Don't goof!!!!...and DO NOT (seriously) go for the DRIVERS Section EVER.
Trust the vendors/manufacturers instead and this SOLELY.
