Sometimes when I log in to places (for example my email) and to attach files
to an email you need to open a popup window. But the popup window always
tells me I'm not logged in and I need to be logged in to see this
information. But I am logged in for sure! I see this at different websites
and I know that it's my computer that needs to change a setting. But wich
one? I have asked and asked and noone knows. I have tried to change security
options and so on but it doesn't do any good.
I'm using WinXP and IE 6. Do YOU know what this is about?

Hi Saga :-)

Try the following and see if it helps:

How to Enable Pop-ups:

The above issue can occur, if you have not enabled Activex scripts or java
scripts.

Try enabling the scripts in IE by following the steps given below:

1.Open IE and click Tools and select Internet Options.
2.Click Security and click Custom level.
3.Scroll down the tab and enable (check) all the options under "Activex
control
and plugins".
4.Also enable (check) the options under "Java VM" in the scroll list.
5.Click Ok.

or..............

Allow active content to run in files on My Computer - Windows XP Service

If these steps do not resolve your problem, please post back to this thread
with the details and any error messages.

Hope this helps

Hey Jan and thank you so much. I tried to enable ActiveX but it didn't help.
It seems like it's some kind of javascript error. But it's only on some
pages. In one place the message says "You have to be logged in to use this
function, log in here... yada yada. If you are already logged in please check
so your browser accept cookies."
but my browser DO accept cookies... :(
