Problem with Table

I'm using PowerPoint 2000. I have created tables through "Insert Table" icon.
Problem is my tables are not showing plain line but end of grids (lines) are
with arrow tip. What could be the wrong with my PowerPoint Set up or anything
else. Please help. Thanks for reading this question.
