Problem with Standby

Not sure if this goes here or in the hardware section.

I have a custom built system running WinXP Pro. When I awake my computer
from standby mode, it makes the audio driver go haywire (all static) and I
have to reboot to make it go away. Does anyone know why this happens or
have a solution to this?

Thanks,

Generally, since it may be a driver problem, it's a classic case of
seeing if you are using the latest drivers. See if they are available
from your sound card maker or your motherboard maker [if onboard sound].

Hi Plato,

Thanks for your reply. I updated the driver and it stills does the same
thing. Any other suggestions?
