Hi Folks -

I'm just learning how to make basic home videos with Ulead's VideoStudio 8

I've been trying to add a soundtrack using one of my many MP3 files... but
every time I try to add the MP3 files to the track I get an error saying
"this file contains no data."

What gives?

These MP3 files work fine in my MusicMatch MP3 player! .... why in the world
does my video software no accept these MP3s?

This is very troubling because I have a thousand or more MP3s... each
painstakingly tagged and organized in Musicmatch.

Has the musicmatch software done something proprietary to these files? (It
doesn't seem so becuase the MP3s do play in other players fine too)

But here's something funny... if I just download any MP3 from Limewire or
whatnot... and use that file asa soundtrack in Ulead... it works!

What in the world is wrong with my MP3s??

Help!

Tom

Might be best to take this to the ulead forums where VS8 experts will be
able to help. Is VS8 supposed to handle mp3's as lots of editing apps
struggle with them.
