Problem with removing additional mailboxes from Outlook 2000

Hello
I have an issue with Outlook 2000.
In order for our managers to be able to view users inboxes, they have rights
to access those inboxes from Outlook. We are using it to check e-mail people
that are off that day. This is only for people working in sales.

Anyway.
Recently I encountered a problem when after adding a mailbox to user Outlook
2000 it all works fine. Next day when the manager removes the mailbox for
some reason it stays in Outlook. When I check the advanced setting of
Exchange Server (on that user PC - From Outlook --> Tools--> Services -->
Select Microsoft Exchange Server and click Properties --> Advanced --> In
there there is no mailbox added.

Still in main Outlook view I can see other mailbox. We can view it and work
on it as it would be still added.

I did try to add it back in but then I get two mailboxes in Outlook folder
view. When I try to remove it, then only of them is removed.

Any ideas how to fix this issue. I have now 3 people with one unwanted
mailbox attached it their Outlook 2000.

On the server I am using Exchange 2000 with newest SP. Clients using Office
2000 with newest SP.

Any help is appreciated
