the problem seems to be located on one PC in my company.
for some reason if someone sends an email and person A is in the TO
and I am in the CC.. when i recieve the email outlook changes it so
that I am the only one listed in the TO and CC. Thus it looks like it
was only sent to me twice. This occurs from multiple people when
sending to me and person A can be anyones address.

Are you using Exchange server? Another in-house mail server?
More details may help you get help.

hopefull i will setup up the problem better.
no inhouse server... outlook is setup as an acount and not "corperate"
useing services.. i did run a scanpst on the pst file it uses and no
problems found.

Company email hosted on a outside POP server of which they have 5
accounts. In house they have 5 machines each useing outlook 2000.
only 1 of these machines are affected in this manor.
IF anyone of the other 4 or anyone outside sends (who we shall call)
BOB an email where they put any person as the TO and BOB as the CC..
when BOB checks his email outlook 2k changes the TO and the CC to read
that both are to BOB. The orginal TO is changed.

Bob's machine is not running any anti spam programs as i know of but
is running nortons antivirus 2004 only (not the internet security).
If that same person sends that email to any of the other 4 people in
the workplace other than BOB they recieve the email fine. so i don't
think it's either the hosting or original sender that is changeing or
messing up the delivery.

thanks for the reply and any future help possible.
