problem with power point 2003

I am developing a Smart Tag for office 2003 in VB.NET. This smart tag works
with a DLL in VB6 in order to retrieve the data from an access database.
It works perfect in Excel 2003 and Word 2003 but when i try to test with
Power Point in the specified line where is instanced the VB6 DLL the program
cannot make this and also catch any error message only is blocked undefinily
until powerpoint shows NOT RESPONDING.

Somebody can help me in order to resolve this problem??
 
You'd probably be better off asking this in a newsgroup related to
PowerPoint.

This newsgroup is for questions about Access, the database product that's
part of Office Professional.
