Problem with Personal Address Book

When I add a new internet address to my personal address
book, I am not able select it afterwards. I get a message
saying `The properties dialog box could not be displayed.
The action could not be completed.'
Also, from the addresses that are already there, some are
okay but other's I can't edit because it is greyed out.

Can anyone help please?

Version is outlook 2002

Personal Address Book was being used when I joined the
company and when we upgraded from Office 2000.

PAB allows us to specify where we want to store it. Is
Outlook Address Book better?

How can I copy or export all the addresses in PAB in one
go?

Any reason you aren't using the Outlook Address Book instead?

I'll set aside the debate over whether the Outlook Address Book is better.
The fact is that it replaced the Personal Address Book years ago, so the
sooner you migrate the better. Look over migration strategies here:
