Yesterday I upgraded my Outlook Express to Version 6.0.
Since I did this, when I try and bring it up, it asks for
my password, then freezes up. After many tries, including
rebooting several times, I gave up. This morning it did
the same thing again. After the second try, it finally
went in to my e-mail. I am sure that I will have problems
again with it. Any thoughts to what may be causing this?
I am going to leave my Outlook Express up, so I can read
the responses. If I shut it down, I am not sure that I
can pull it up. My e-mail is (e-mail address removed)

Hi, Cathy -

This is a group to support Outlook from the Office group of programs.
Outlook Express is a part of Internet Explorer and is a quite different
program, despite its similar name..

You will probably get a faster and more expert answer if you post this to an
Outlook Express news group.

microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress for OE 6.x

A good website for information on OE is:

Sorry, no email replies. Note - posting your valid e-mail address in a
newsgroup post, or in your news account settings, is a surefire way to get
spam and SWEN and other viruses sent to you....see
http://www.mailmsg.com/SPAM_munging.htm for help in the future, but note
that now that your address is out there, there's not much you can do other
than changing your address.
