Hi,

I have a client who experienced a problem with their outlook
express. Everytime they sent a message, it would stay in there outbox
and send numerous times. I could not find the source of the problem
so I created a new identity and imported the settings and the old
messages. This worked great.... except for the fact they had not
deleted any messages in over four years and the import killed the
remaining space on their drive. I need to remove the old identity but
it is the MAIN IDENTITY so it will not let me remove it from within
Outlook Express. Where does OE keep their data files and how can I
remove everything in the old identity to free up space on the drive?

THanks very much for your help.

Right click on any folder in OE and click properties. They are all kept in
the same folder.

check Tools - Options _ Advanced - Maintenance - Store Folder.

Here's some help: Ask in a group with OUTLOOK EXPRESS or OE in the
title. Noticed this group lacks those terms. Go ask there.

NoConsequence,

Well if I had Please Give Some Snide Sarcastic Remark in the title, I
would value your comments. If you don't want to respond to the post,
move on.

Everyone else,

Thanks for your suggestions.
