For the past 2 months, I am unable to receive any emails
from anyone from yahoo. I contacted Verizon and they told
me that they have no blocking set up. I have checked and
recheck my outlook express and no blocking has been set
up. Verizon washed their hands of the problem and
suggested that I contact Microsoft. What I need to find
out is how to get my system to accept emails from people
using yahoo. I have tried looking every place that I can
think of. Nothing shows up inder tools, messaging.
Nothing shows up as blocking. Can someone help me try and
figure this out. I am in several quilting guilds and get
messages from KayeWoods.com and others but they are not
now coming through. I can get messages at my other web
site email: dotty@bubbabucks but not
(e-mail address removed).

Do the senders get an NDR (non-delivery report)? If you send (or have
someone send) a test message from Yahoo with OE closed, and then check your
mail at Verizon's webmail page or www.mail2web.com can you see the mail
there (this would eliminate OE as the culprit)?

Note - posting your valid e-mail address in a newsgroup post, or in your
news account settings, is a surefire way to get spam and SWEN and other
viruses sent to you....see http://www.mailmsg.com/SPAM_munging.htm for help
in the future, but note that now that your address is out there, there's not
much you can do other than changing your address.

Also note -

This is a group to support Outlook from the Office group of programs.
Outlook Express is a part of Internet Explorer and is a quite different
program, despite its similar name..

You will probably get a faster and more expert answer if you post this to an
Outlook Express news group.

Try posting in one of these newsgroups:
microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie5.outlookexpress for OE 5.x
microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie55.outlookexpress for OE 5.5x
microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress for OE 6.x
microsoft.public.internet.outlookexpress.mac for OE for Macintosh

If those groups aren't carried on the news server that's carrying this group
try using msnews.microsoft.com (MS's public news server that's the source
for all the microsoft.public newsgroups).

A good website for information on OE is:
