Hi
It is kind of screwed up on my new laptop. The laptop came with Office 2003
Standard trial version preinstalled. Since there is no need to use it to
replace my current Office XP professional, I decided to uninstall it and
install the XP version instead; however, it is kind of mass up that the
original configuration still exists even though Outlook 2003 has been
uninstalled. So now after I install Outlook 2002, Outlook read the old
configuration and try to find the personal fold file upon the old
configuration. This isn't bothering me. The worst thing is that the
address book no longer recognize the Outlook's Contact list.
I have tried to uninstall all Office apps. and delete all the folders
related to Office, and also delete all the regitries for Office, but none of
them works. I guess there must be a system file for Outlook stored
somewhere other than Application Data, Progam Files, and registry.
Can anyone give me some idea how to clean up all the old Office's
configuration in order to have a "clean" installation.
Thanks.
