Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could help me.

I am running the Outlook with office 2003.
I can receive mail with no problem, but when I try to send mail it
wont work, I get the following error...

Task 'mail1.eircom.net - Sending' reported error (0x800CCC0F) : 'The
connection to the server was interrupted. If this problem continues,
contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'

I have been told its to do with my security, (Norton Internet security
2005) but I do not know how to over come it.

Also, is there a limit on the amount of people you can send a mail to
at once through Outlook?

Hope someone can help me.

Thanks.

Common causes:
1) You're not authenticating to your ISP's outgoing server
2) You're scanning your email with an antivirus scanner
3) Your ISP inbox is full and needs to be emptied.

I've confirmed the outgoing server with them, so that is ok I think. I
can send messages from the ISP mail on their website, just not if I set
it up through Outlook, if u know what I mean? So I think that would
rule out the 3rd one too.
I've been told its to do with antivirus scaning. But do you know if
there's a way get around this problem?

Thanks.
