problem with network adopter

my network adopter is D-LINK DFE-538TX,but windows xp
knows and install it as REALTEK RTL8139 FAMILY FAST
ETHERNET NIC,i want to know if it will make any problem
or not?
i tried to install D-LINK DFE-538TX,it says error code
10,i want to know if it is necessary to install D-LINK
DFE-538TX driver instead of REALTEK RTL8139 FAMILY FAST
ETHERNET NIC,
please tell me all information u have about this problem

Hi Maria,

I use a D-LInk 604 and yes install the proper drivers for
your D-link because it gives you your internet gateway,
Wan & Lan IP addresses. Then follow the instructions.

Your Realtek sounds like that's your ethernet card that
is installed. XP doesn't install a router box, you do.
