Running Outlook 2000 SR-1 (9.0.0.5414) on Windows 2000. I'm having problems
trying to save to a local folder from my inbox. I get an error message
stating "Can't move the items. The item could not be moved. It was either
already moved or deleted, or access was denied." I'm guessing this has
something to do with my .pst file size. It is approaching 2GB. I have tried
to go into some of the local folders and delete some of the old messages,
but this locks up Outlook and it must be restarted. I'm hoping that I will
not have to create another .pst file. Any suggestions?

Why are you averse to creating a new PST? It helps keep things organized
and keeps the sizes down so you don't have the trouble you're having.
