Hi Ryan, Open up the registry editor, Start, Run, then type: Regedit
Look for the keys mentioned in the article, example I just exported this key
from the registry
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{79eac9e0-baf9-11ce-8c82-00aa004ba90b}\InprocServer32]
@="C:\\WINDOWS\\system32\\urlmon.dll"
"ThreadingModel"="Apartment"
Note you can save the registry key first by:
On the File menu, click Export.
In the File name box, type SaveKey, and then click Save.
Or create a system restore point prior to editing.
Note: If the registry key is not there, you can simply create one by going
edit>new.

Thanks for the reply, but none of those seem to help. It appears that the
problem is this this article, "Nothing Happens After You Click a Link"
I had some programs shortcuts lead directly to internet locations on the web,
but when you double-click them nothing happens.. same that happens when I click
a link in Outlook Express. I tried all that stuff shown in the article, but
nothing fixed it. One thing I dunno how to do though is check for the registry
thing it was showing. Thanks for any further help!
