When trying to go to other web sites, ie crashes and displays a "microsoft explorer has encountered a
problem and must shut down - we are sorry for the inconvience".

This started happening last week and has become worse. It now happens just about any time I try to go
to another web site. I have sent back error return messages, re-installed explorer 6, downloaded any-
thing I thought would help, all to no avail. Saw that someone had the same problem in a discussion
item yesterday, but didn't see any solution.

Please help!

Hi,
This is probably being caused by a third-party program (adware, spyware,
parasite)

Work through the solutions (CWShredder, Ad-aware, Spybot) at
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm Also note the security tips on that
page.
